    Minor Forest Produce Processing & Research Center (MFP-PARC) is working to ensure that precious natural resources can be protected in working to ensure that precious natural resources can be protected in Quality Testing & Research activity in Herbal Medicine. We have Excellent Quality Testing & Research facilities, advanced equipment support and it is named as “Vindhya Herbal Quality Testing & Research Laboratory”. This laboratory is well equipped for assessing the identity, purity, and strength of medicinal plant raw materials involving organoleptic, macroscopic and microscopic examination, physico-chemical analysis as well as characteristic & marker compounds quantification and evaluation of microbial load. It has state of the art high precision equipments, like Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectroscopy (LCMSMS), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatograph (GC), High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC), Atomic Absorption Spectrometer(AAS), UV-VIS Spectrophotometer and other peripherals have been installed to meet the globally acceptable quality standards. A herbarium centre has already been set-up where authenticated plant specimens in the form of herbarium sheets are preserved. A software has been developed for the easy searching & indexing of the herbarium sheets.
